Tre Flip
A combination of a 360 spin and a Kickflip.
The Tre Flip, or 360 Flip, is a highly technical trick where the board performs a 360-degree horizontal spin while simultaneously doing a kickflip. It's a hallmark of advanced flatground skating.

Learn the scoop motion and flicking technique that make this complex trick possible.
👟 Foot Positioning
1. Front Foot Position
Your front foot should be positioned similar to a kickflip, but a bit further back, with your toes pointing forward.
2. Back Foot Position
Your back foot is the key. Place the ball of your foot in the pocket of the tail, with your toes hanging off the edge. This position is crucial for the 360 scoop.

Scoop
Pop the tail and scoop it hard behind you. The scoop is a powerful, circular motion that initiates both the spin and the flip.
Flick
Your front foot doesn't flick as much as in a kickflip. It mainly guides the board and gets out of the way. A small flick forward is all that is needed.
Catch
The board will rotate quickly. Keep your feet apart and watch for the griptape. Catch the board with your front foot first, then bring your back foot on.
Land
Land over the bolts and absorb the impact.
Golden Tip!
The tre flip is 80% back foot. Focus on getting the scoop right and the rest will follow.
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Board only spins 180 degrees: You need a more powerful scoop.
Board flips but doesn't spin: You are flicking too much like a kickflip and not scooping enough.
Board flies away from you: Keep your weight centered and jump straight up.
