📈 Detailed Switch Ollie Execution

Loading...

1

Ride Switch

Get comfortable riding in your switch stance.

2

Pop

Pop the tail with your dominant foot. It will likely feel weaker than your regular pop.

3

Slide

Slide your non-dominant foot up the board to level it out.

4

Land

Land on the bolts and try to maintain your balance while rolling away switch.

💡

Golden Tip!

Everything will feel backwards and weak. Patience and repetition are the only way to learn this.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

⚠️

Very little pop: This is normal. You need to build strength in your dominant ankle for popping.

⚠️

Poor slide: The sliding motion with your non-dominant foot will be uncoordinated at first.

⚠️

Losing balance immediately: Spend a lot of time just riding switch before attempting this.
