Laser Flip
The Futuristic Flip
A Laser Flip is a combination of a frontside 360 shove-it and a heelflip. The board does a full 360-degree rotation along the horizontal axis while also flipping along the longitudinal axis, creating a complex and visually stunning trick.

🎯 Fire the Laser
The Laser Flip is a highly technical and respected trick. Landing one cleanly is a mark of a truly advanced flatground skater and shows incredible board control.
👟 Foot Positioning
1. Front Foot Position
Your front foot is in a heelflip position, with your toes hanging off the edge, ready to flick.
2. Back Foot Position
Your back foot is on the tail, positioned to scoop the board for a powerful frontside 360 shove-it.

Pop and Scoop
Pop the tail and give it a powerful frontside scoop with your back foot to initiate the 360 rotation.
Flick
As the board rotates, flick your front foot out for the heelflip. The timing is crucial.
Catch and Land
The board will complete its full rotation and flip. Watch for the griptape, catch the board with both feet over the bolts, and absorb the landing.
Golden Tip!
The power comes from the back foot scoop. You need a very strong and precise scoop to get the full 360 rotation while keeping the board under you.
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Board not completing the 360 rotation: Put more power into your back foot scoop.
Board flipping but not rotating (just a heelflip): Focus on the shove-it motion.
Board landing behind you: Try to jump forward with the board as it rotates.
