Roll Fakie
Start rolling backwards at a comfortable speed.
Wind Up and Pop
Wind up your shoulders in the direction you want to spin (backside) and then pop a fakie ollie.
Rotate
Lead the rotation with your head and shoulders. Your body and the board will follow, spinning 180 degrees.
Land
Land in your regular stance, with your feet over the bolts, and roll away.
Golden Tip!
The rotation comes from your shoulders. Turn your head to look where you want to land.
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Not completing the 180 rotation: You need to commit to turning your shoulders and head more.
Losing balance on landing: Bend your knees to absorb the impact and stay centered.
Board doesn't pop high enough: Focus on getting a solid fakie ollie first.
