Frontside Pop Shuvit

Difficulty Level: BeginnerTail

The board spins 180 degrees towards your front.

The Frontside Pop Shuvit involves the board spinning 180 degrees frontside (towards you) while your body stays in place. It requires a different scooping motion than the regular (backside) Pop Shuvit.

1

Pop and Scoop

Pop the tail down and use your back foot to scoop the board forward and in front of you.

2

Guide

Your front foot lifts up and slightly forward to guide the board through its rotation.

3

Catch and Land

As the board completes the 180-degree spin, catch it with your feet over the bolts and land.

💡

Golden Tip!

The board tends to fly in front of you. You need to jump forward a little to land on it.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

⚠️

Board doesn't rotate the full 180: Scoop harder with your back foot.

⚠️

Landing with only one foot: Commit to jumping forward with the board.

⚠️

Board flips over: You are likely flicking with your front foot. It should just lift up.
