👟 Foot Positioning

1. Front Foot Position

2. Back Foot Position

Your back foot should be on the tail, with the ball of your foot in the center for a solid pop.

1

Wind Up and Pop

Start to turn your shoulders frontside as you bend down to pop. Pop the tail straight down.

2

Flick and Rotate

As you pop, lead the 180-degree rotation with your head and shoulders. Simultaneously, flick your front foot off the side of the nose like a kickflip.

3

Catch and Land

The board will flip and rotate in front of you. Keep your eyes on the board, catch it with your feet over the bolts as you complete the 180 rotation, and land.

💡

Golden Tip!

The key is to lead the rotation with your upper body. Your shoulders and head dictate where the board will go. Keep them turning throughout the trick.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

⚠️

Board flipping but not rotating the full 180: Focus on turning your shoulders more.

⚠️

Rotating 180 but the board doesn't flip: Make sure you are getting a solid kickflip flick.

⚠️

The board flies away from you: Try to stay centered over the board and jump with it.
