Approach
Approach the ledge parallel with moderate speed.
Pop and Flip
Pop an ollie and initiate a half-kickflip, so the board turns upside down.
Land and Slide
Catch the board with your feet on the trucks/wheels and land on the ledge, sliding on the griptape.
Flip Out
At the end of the slide, use your feet to flip the board back over and land on the bolts.
Golden Tip!
The key is the half-flip and catching the board with your feet on the trucks. This gives you control during the slide.
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Board flipping all the way over: Control the flip to only go halfway.
Not being able to flip out: This is the hardest part. Practice the motion on the ground.
Griptape sticking: A well-waxed ledge is essential.
