The Classic Freestyle Trick

The Casper is a freestyle trick where the board is upside down, resting on the ground on its concave, and balanced by the skater's back foot on the tail and front foot underneath the board. It's a foundational trick for many other freestyle maneuvers.

1. Front Foot Position

Start with the board upside down. You can get into this position with a half-kickflip or by just placing it.

Place your back foot on the tail and your front foot under the board, near the truck. Find the balance point.

Hold it

Hold the Casper position for as long as you can. This is the basic trick.
