Loading...

1

Approach

Approach the rail or ledge at a slight angle, with enough speed to slide.

2

Ollie and Turn

Ollie high enough to get over the obstacle and turn your body 90 degrees to land with the board across the rail.

3

Slide

Keep your weight centered over the board and your knees bent as you slide. Look towards the end of the rail.

4

Land

As you reach the end of the rail, turn your body back to the regular stance and land on all four wheels.

💡

Golden Tip!

Start on a low, flat bar or a waxed curb. Wax the obstacle well to make sliding easier.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

⚠️

Sticking on the rail: Not enough speed or wax.

⚠️

Slipping out: Your weight might be too far on your heels or toes. Stay centered.

⚠️

Not getting onto the rail: You need to ollie higher and commit.
