Bigger Spin
Even Bigger Than a Bigspin
A Bigger Spin takes the Bigspin to the next level. It consists of the board doing a 540-degree pop shove-it while the rider rotates their body 180 degrees in the same direction.

🎯 Go Bigger!
The Bigger Spin is a highly technical trick that requires an immense amount of scoop and board control. Landing one is a serious statement and a mark of an elite skater.
👟 Foot Positioning
1. Front Foot Position
Your front foot is positioned in the middle of the board, ready to catch the board after its long rotation.
2. Back Foot Position
Your back foot needs to be deep in the pocket of the tail, ready for an extremely powerful scoop.

Wind Up and Scoop
Wind up your shoulders for the 180 turn and give the tail an incredibly powerful scoop to get the 540 rotation.
Jump and Rotate
Jump high and turn your body 180 degrees. You need to give the board enough time and space to complete the full 540 rotation underneath you.
Spot, Catch, and Land
This happens very fast. Spot the board coming around, catch it with your front foot, and bring your back foot on to land switch.
Golden Tip!
It is all in the back foot. The scoop has to be perfect. It needs to be both powerful and precise to get the board to spin flat and fast.
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Board not rotating 540: This is the main challenge. It requires more scoop and power than you think.
Losing control of the board: Try to keep your body centered and compact during the rotation.
Landing with only one foot: Commitment is crucial. You have to trust the rotation and go for the landing.
