Wind Up
Slightly wind up your shoulders in the frontside direction.
Pop and Turn
Pop the tail and unwind your shoulders, turning your head and body in the backside direction. This is a blind rotation, so you have to trust your feeling.
Guide the Board
Use your front foot to guide the board through the 180-degree rotation.
Land
Land switch and bend your knees to maintain balance.
Golden Tip!
The key is to turn your head and lead with your shoulders. The rest of your body will follow.
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Not completing the rotation: Commit to turning your head and shoulders the full 180 degrees.
Board lands behind you: You might be leaning too far forward. Stay centered.
Losing balance upon landing: Bend your knees more to absorb the impact and stabilize yourself.
